Senior Professor for Sociology at the Deusto University, Chairman of the Forum Deusto (Deusto Forum) and the main European Values Study researcher for Spain.
Social researcher in the areas of "religious and value systems" and "sociology of youth, of juvenile violence and of drug addiction".
He has overseen close to fifty empirical sociological studies, more than half of which have been published in books, and has been involved in a further twenty-five in the role of co-author.
