David Hopkins

David Hopkins is Professor Emeritus at the Institute of Education, University of London, where, until recently, he held the inaugural HSBC iNet Chair in International Leadership.
He is an international consultant on educational reform.
He has served as Chief Adviser to three UK Secretaries of State for Education.
He was Chair of the Leicester City Partnership Board and Dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of Nottingham.
He was a Tutor at the University of Cambridge Institute of Education.
He has published over thirty books on education. Recent scientific research he has participated in includes: Evaluation of the Global Impact of PISA, funded by the OECD, and OECD Analytic Review of School Leadership in England, funded by the UK Department of Education.
